Well being away for the weekend let me get in that one nice run, but I am not very good at running while on vacation. I am a creature of habit and have a hard time fitting in a run while off my “normal” schedule. Been busy catching up since we got back, sometimes its hard working for yourself and being away. There is not anyone else to catch your slack when you slack off, oh well just a small downfall.

I am going away this Friday night again and not going to return till Wednesday. This time I better make some time for runs. I am going to be in Disney with the family. I cannot wait.

Yesterday’s run was fun, especially since it had been a few days. Going to rap up some work her this morning and get a run in early this afternoon. Hopefully around 2pm or so, maybe a 5 miler today!

Its been a few days since my last run and I feel as though I could have run forever today. I wish I had gotten up earlier so I would not have felt rushed to get back to the hotel we were staying at. This was on a weekend trip we made to South Florida for a family wedding. I got to run around other people, going down A1A along the beach. There was a good wind coming from the ocean that kept me nice and cool. I almost forgot how many other people really are runners and bicyclists. Its hard where I live as I think I am the only runner around here, I like to run alone, but its nice to see others sometimes. Hopefully someday I will get back to South Florida to live and enjoy that run again.

An average run, fun but nothing exciting. Kind of up and down, I was a bit tired and hot.

A nice evening run, something I tend not to do a lot. I ran this at around 6:30 or so, just a short quick run, nothing fancy. Its amazing how different things are when you run out of your normal time. The neighborhood has so much more going on, different people out, different cars, almost like another place. I love running and observing what is going on around me.

So just as I expected it was a few days, I did not get this run in till yesterday (Sunday) but it was a good one. A real nice day, sunny and a bit cooler than it had been. I ran just over 7 miles and could have gone much further. I am not sure why I stopped when I did, I should have kept going for at least another mile or so, oh well. Best run in a while.

Not to much of a special run, its been HOT here and I am having a hard time getting used to it. Very humid, of course it does not help that I run at around noon everyday. But I like to be out in the sunshine and that is the best part. Oh well, even a bad day of running is still better than a day of no running. Kind of stinks that today will be the last day running for a while. I do not think I will get another day in till Saturday or maybe even Sunday. I will make it a longer run when I get the next one in.

Life has gotten in the way and running has not been happening as I like.
