06/22/2007 - Run
A great day for a run…that is as long as you do not mind heavy cloud cover and a light rain. The temp was also in the low 80’s as opposed to the low 90’s which made it feel a lot cooler. I wanted to go a bit longer today but the clouds were real dark and starting to look like lightning was not to far off, I could hear some thunder starting.
Its amazing how much better I can run when the conditions are just a bit different. Cooler temps, the rain keeping me cool and no sun beating down on me. I love being a runner, the passing cars all must have thought I was out of my mind running in the rain and the big smile I had on my face I am sure did not help.
