Its been a week off, one that I had planned just due to a schedule change and lack of time. It felt good to be back.

Today’s run is for Monday the 13th. I am not going to be running for a week following this run. I have to take Friday off which means Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be very loooong work days to make up for missing hours on Friday. Its nice being an independent contractor but sometimes I miss having vacation and sick days. Oh well still worth it. I also will not be able ti run this weekend as we are going out of town briefly. So I will wait for next Monday and enjoy the run when it comes. Until then…

I should have posted this run sooner, because now I cannot remember anything special about it.

So humid, the feels temperature was a little over 100 today. I just walked out the door and was sweating. I guess running at noon does not help, but that is when I prefer to go.

I did not run yesterday, the rain and thunder just did not work out for me. I planned on going during lunch but thunder kept me indoors, and after work the same happened. Oh well.

Its been so hot and humid here lately I find myself wanting the cooler months to come, of course then I will want the heat again. Funny how that works.

I decided to not go for a bike today, and did a second weekend run. I was lazy all day and did not run until about 5pm. It was nice out, but very hot and humid. I enjoyed the run except I think I should have gone out on the bike. Oh well.
